"A Breakdown of the New AHSOKA Trailer Entitled 'GET READY' "

Hello there! The Corellian Korean here to talk about the latest trailer for the AHSOKA series that was released to the public on August 16. Let's take a look!

WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD

FOR THE AHSOKA SERIES (PREMIERS AUGUST 23)

THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO TURN AWAY

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...

Here are image stills that highlight the footage of the trailer:

The trailer starts with Shin Hati exiting a turbolift in an attempt to rescue Morgan Elsbeth from a New Republic transport. Baylan's voice over says, "War is coming." We've seen this footage and heard this voiceover from previous trailers.

Ahsoka Tano versus Marrok at the docking/shipyard.

Then we have this brief instance when Ahsoka tells Sabine Wren, "When the stakes are high... "

Note that Sabine is inside Ahsoka's T-6 shuttle wearing her Mando jumpsuit and her hair is short. This moment probably takes place after the two leave Lothal and before they reach the planet with red forest/navigational site.

Then we have these familiar scenes of Ahsoka jumping out of a window to confront Marrok. This shot of Ahsoka locking lightsabers with Marrok seems longer than before.

Ahsoka continues to speak, "...It takes a master..."

Here is a new angle of Sabine riding on her custom speeder. She's either smiling because her prodigal master has returned or because she already juked the traffic police droid OR she noticed the traffic police flying ahead of her and knows how to deal with it.

Ahsoka's voiceover continues, "...And an apprentice..."

I believe this is also a new angle of Sabine before she slides under the traffic police transport. Note that there is a shuttle behind Sabine. I don't think it's the police. Maybe it's a random transport.

Sabine power slides under the traffic police transport.

Familiar scenes of Baylan Skoll taking down New Republic personnel to free Morgan Elsbeth from captivity.

Ahsoka's voiceover, "...To defeat our enemy."

This is a new angle of Shin Hati extending her arm to Force Push the personnel at the docking bay.

Originally, I thought this was Bayland Force Pushing the personnel but it was Shin doing the deed.

This is new footage of Hera Syndulla speaking to Ahsoka after they land on the planet with the docking bay/shipyard. In this scene, Hera asks Ahsoka, "What makes someone ready?"

If I had to guess, this happens after the two confront Marrok probably with other mercenaries in tow. Maybe this is when Hera suggests recruiting Sabine to their cause a second time. Also Hera made the same suggestion before they came to that planet via holographic communication.

In my breakdowns of the previous AHSOKA trailers, I repositioned my theory that the transport carrying the large circular disc was a random civilian vessel but now I have returned to my first theory of the shuttle with the circular disc cargo is working with Marrok and Baylan. That the large circular disc was actually stolen by Baylan's mercenaries. Hera or/and Chopper are aboard the Phantom II chasing that transport in an effort return the stolen circular disc and of course catch the thieves involved.

This is new footage of a Force Vision with Sabine and Shin Hati.

After examining plenty of trailer footage, I am certain that Sabine has some level of Force Sensitivity. I believe the Force is in everyone, it's latent and dormant until it is tapped. However, not everyone is talented in controlling the Force, aka having little Force Sensitivity, aka lacking in Midi-chlorians to be aware of the presence of the Force. With proper training, an individual can learn to control the Force to a certain degree. Some will be more powerful in the Force than others. In Sabine's case, I think Kanan Jarrus and Ezra Bridger brought out Sabine's Force sensitivity allowing her to have better control of the Darksaber during REBELS. Kanan probably told Ahsoka that Sabine is a late bloomer in the Force. If the above is true, then how strong is Sabine in the Force? I'd imagine her Force Sensitivity is not as high as Ezra Bridger... regardless she can control the Force.

I still think that the scene above is Sabine's Force Vision foreshadowing an event to come. Or maybe this is Ahsoka's Force Vision. After all, Ahsoka has been hearing whispers of Grand Admiral Thrawn's return as heir to the Empire. So it can be either one but I am certain this is a Force Vision. One reason to support my claim is that Sabine still has her long hair in the vision. We know Sabine cuts her hair before going to the red forest to fight Baylan and Shin. Second, Shin tells Sabine that she has no power. This statement may be Shin's impression of their first sword fight in the red forest. I theorized that Sabine's hair cut happens before they go the red forest. Another reason why Ahsoka trains Sabine in Jedi lightsaber combat aboard the T-6 is in preparation of the big fight at the red forest/ navigational planet. It would make sense if the Force Vision left an impression upon Ahsoka and Sabine to have their training session. And finally, Shin has no motive to find Sabine and fight her. They have no beef with each other. They probably never met before. It is more likely that Ahsoka and Sabine will team-up to find Baylan and Shin.

Ahsoka's voice over replies back to Hera, "You just know."

Here is a familiar scene but this footage is a little longer than previous trailers. This time we get Huyang blinking the backseat. Don't ask me why droids blink. Note that the co-pilot seat is empty. Sabine was occupying that spot. She probably got up to man the guns on the T-6. Then we get that dogfight between Ahsoka's T-6 shuttle versus Baylan's three mercenary starfighters. I believe Shin is piloting one of the starfighters or she will join the dogfight later on.

I also believe Sabine makes the first shot at the mercenary starfighters. She manages to gun down one of them then whoops. Which would explain why there are only two starfighters in this shot.

This is the planet with the red forest and the ancient navigational site. Ahsoka will meet Baylan and Shin on the planet's surface for the first time. Or this is Lothal, before Ahsoka recruits Sabine.

Another familiar scene of Ahsoka running from the explosions from the Jedi ruins/temple. The explosions may have been started by one or two of the droids hunting Ahsoka.

Footage of Ahsoka in melee combat with Marrok and his/her soon to be dismembered droid.

New footage of Chopper waving it's appendages aboard the Phantom II probably to complain or warn Hera about being shot at. This happens while the Phantom II is chasing down the transport carrying the stolen large disc. Maybe Hera and Chopper are both aboard the Phantom II which means Jacen Syndulla is safely on the Ghost not too far from the chase.

This is new footage of the Jedi ruins/temple being completely engulfed up by the explosion.

And the closing shots of Ahsoka fighting Baylan at the ancient navigational site.

Well, that's it for this scoop. I hope you found today's post interesting wherever you are. If you did enjoy the post please share your thoughts. And while you are at it please leave a like. Until next time, may the Force be with you. Always!
