“Does Ahsoka have hair?”
Hello there! The Corellian Korean here with the twenty-first RANDOM QUESTION SUNDAY! And the question is:
Does Ahsoka have hair on her head?

Today's question comes from my mother-in-law who follows STARWARSNEWSKOREA.COM in Korean. The whole Corellian Korean family, including Trooper #37, sat around the TV to watch the premiere of AHSOKA when #37's grandmother happened to visit. She would pass glances at the show and ask questions about what she saw.
My mother-in-law thought Ahsoka Tano had a very interesting hairdo. She didn't know Ahsoka was a Togruta, an alien race that resemble humans. Mrs. CK and I explained that Ahsoka has fleshy head tails (Lekku) and horns (Montrals) that grow from her head like hair.
Torgruta, an alien race with human like features. They grow montral horns and lekku head tails instead of hair on their head.
Then my mother-in-law asked about Hera Syndulla, "Is that (green) woman also an alien?" I replied affirmatively and explained that both Ahoska and Hera were aliens. I pointed to Sabine Wren as an example of a human. That Humans and aliens coexist together in this world. Star Wars is a different universe from ours. There is no Earth but there are planets inhabited by humans. There are many races of aliens in Star Wars, some resemble humans but some do not.
Mrs. CK looked at the hair like lekku head tails on Hera and asked what would happen if the head tails were cut from a Twi'lek? I explained that there is a possibility that Hera could die if a head tail was cut but there are cases where Twi'lek live. Tthat was all I knew about Twi-lek lekkus.
Interestingly enough Ahsoka's race, the Togruta, will not die if their lekku or montrals get cut. I hope Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau touch upon this someday.
