"A Massive Open-World Star Wars Game"
The Creative Director of Ubisoft Massive Entertainment hinted at a Star Wars game with a Tweet. They are currently developing a game that resembles the gameplay experience from the open-world game "No Man's Sky".

There is not much information on the game. We know this joint project between Ubisoft and Lucasfilms was announced back in 2021. It's implied that there will be open-world exploration and that allows you to travel between star systems. The game would be set in the center of the Star Wars galaxy. You can choose a character path that will set a narrative for your story progression. Here is a quote by Creative Director, Julian Gerighty:
"We want to make it a unique game in the saga with a captivating story and set of characters that players can relate to and connect with. We want to take what is familiar and resonant about Star Wars and tell the stories of new characters who have their own motivations and stakes."

Sounds like you can live out your own CHRONICLES OF #37 adventure from start to finish. We don't know if there will be dog fights in space but I'm sure the developers are aware that Star Wars fans may enjoy that facet of life in the Star Wars galaxy. It would be cool if you could choose several time periods to exist at or allow character types that would not normally exist in one time period like a Clone Trooper fighting at Hoth. I'm sure many would love to be a Mandalorian or at least wear their armor. Explore life as Jodo Kast but avoid getting killed by Fett. Imagine how life would be if Clones Troopers had longer lifespans. Make an impact from within the Empire and fight along side Vader and Thrawn. Rebuild the Jedi Order post RETURN OF THE JEDI with Luke! Hang out with Mando and Ahsoka. Live out your ultimate Star Wars universe fantasy! Only time will tell what Ubisoft's game will be like.
