"Breakdown of the Newest Trailer for AHSOKA - PART 5"

Hello there! The Corellian Korean here to talk about the FIFTH breakdown of the latest AHSOKA trailer.

WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD

FOR AHSOKA SERIES (PREMIERS AUGUST 23)

THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO TURN AWAY

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...

In this fifth breakdown, I will once again combine all three trailers that have released and try to theorize what events are unfolding in these trailers. I may add upon my theory or change my stance if relevant information arises. Now on with the show!

After Ahsoka and Hera part ways, Ahsoka heads to the planet of Lothal in her T6 Shuttle. Ahsoka accepts Hera's urging to reconcile with a former Rebellion freedom fighter, Sabine Wren.

In the next shot, we have Sabine Wren replaying a recording of Ezra Bridger at her home. In the holographic recording, Ezra states, "Sometimes, as a Jedi, you have to make the decisions no one else can make".

Sabine's hair has grown since her freedom fighter days. The walls of her room are decorated with her graffiti but the street art lacks her signature flare that fans of the REBEL series have grown accustom to. If I had to guess, Sabine is not part of the New Republic. Maybe Sabine drinks her days away thinking of the good old days when the Ghost crew were together like a family. Slowly, everyone went their own ways: Zeb Orrelios became a pilot for the New Republic, Hera Syndulla is busy supporting in the New Republic, and Ahsoka comes and goes like the wind looking for leads on Ezra Bridger or Grand Admiral Thrawn. Also Sabine lost two close friends, Ezra went missing and Kanan Jarrus died to protect his loved ones.

Sabine's only companion is a Loth cat. Maybe the Loth cat brings Sabine comfort as it reminds her of Ezra. Ezra had an affinity for communicating with animals through the Force.

Suddenly, Sabine feels a familiar presence and steps out of home to confirm her intuition. Ahsoka's T6 shuttle flies overhead escorted by two X-wing fighters.

Sabine watches the three vessels head toward the city to dock from her watchtower balcony.

Then we have a profile view of Sabine. She does not seem pleased or excited. Her neutral expression conveys reluctance and curiosity.

Here is a better view of Sabine's watchtower and the two X-wings.

The next scene cuts to Sabine racing toward the city on a highway. Traffic police spots Sabine speeding and flies over to intercept.

Sabine on her speeder bike.

The police transport speeds ahead to cut her off in an attempt to stop Sabine. Here we have a better view of Sabine's custom speeder bike jacket and helmet

Sabine effortlessly slides under the police transport giving off rebellious vibes.

The droid operating the police transport blows a fuse. Probably, to express discontent of the traffic violator.

In this shot, Sabine meets Ahsoka on the landing platform where the T-6 shuttle rested.

Sabine greets, "It's been a while."

Ahsoka greets back, saying things have changed. Maybe she alluding to Sabine and the changed city.

Huyang appears from the shuttle and states that there is much work to do. I wonder what Huyang means by this. Does that mean he will help construct a new lightsaber? Or maybe he is referring to the fact that they are busy.

In this next shot, Ahsoka and Sabine have settled down. Maybe this is inside the T-6 shuttle. Ahsoka opens a holographic projection of a the Jedi temple/ruins that blew up. Perhaps Ahsoka explains that she discovered a lead to finding Ezra. Or maybe she is describing her encounter with the three imperial droids. That she needs Sabine's help.

I get the feeling Sabine is antagonistic towards Ahsoka. Sabine states that Ahsoka must have been a difficult pupil to her Jedi master, Anakin Skywalker. And that Sabine was a poor pupil like Ahsoka was. Then Sabine refers to Ahsoka as "master", implying that Ahsoka was training Sabine in the ways of the Jedi.

If Sabine is Force Sensitive, that might explain why Sabine was able to handle the Darksaber so well in the REBELS series. Only a few could master the Jedi relic. Perhaps all who handled the Darksaber were Force Sensitive.

In REBELS, Kanan Jarrus and Ezra trained Sabine in the ways of lightsaber combat. Maybe during that time Kanan realized that Sabine was Force sensitive and told Ahsoka before he died. If this is true, this information may have prompted Ahsoka to take Sabine as a Jedi apprentice.

So one has to wonder, why did Ahsoka leave Sabine? Ahsoka tells Hera that she left Sabine during the middle of their Jedi training. Is this the same reason for why Ahsoka rejects training Grogu? Maybe Ahsoka feels insecure about not completing her Jedi training and that she feels unfit to be anyone's teacher. So Ahsoka leaves, worried that her students might fall to the Darkside like Anakin did.

Sabine being Force sensitive was a pleasant surprise along with Thrawn's facial reveal. But I'll get into that in another breakdown. I'm getting hyped just thinking about the many directions this story can take us.

That's it for the fifth breakdown analysis of the latest AHSOKA trailer. I will continue to post more breakdowns in the coming week. I hope you found today's post interesting wherever you are. If you did please share your thoughts. And while you are at it please leave a like. Until next time, may the Force be with you. Always!
