"Breakdown of the Newest Trailer for AHSOKA - PART 6"

Hello there! The Corellian Korean here to talk about the SIXTH breakdown of the latest AHSOKA trailer.

WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD

FOR THE REBELS ANIMATED SERIES

AND THE AHSOKA SERIES (PREMIERS AUGUST 23)

THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO TURN AWAY

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...

In this sixth breakdown, I will once again combine all three trailers that have released and try to theorize what events are unfolding in these trailers. I may add upon my theory or change my stance if relevant information arises. Now on with the show!

Last time we left off, Ahsoka and Sabine have an uneasy reunion. We find out that Sabine is a Force sensitive and an apprentice to Ahsoka. However, Ahsoka "left" Sabine before she could complete Sabine's Jedi training. The passage of time did not ease Sabine's pain of abandonment. And Ahsoka feels insecure about continuing Sabine's training. They both need each other for the mission ahead and perhaps they can help each other overcome their inner demons of insecurity and doubt.

Despite Sabine's sassy attitude toward her prodigal master, Ahsoka tries to look beyond the bitterness of Sabine's remarks and states what is at stake. That Grand Amiral Thrawn may return as heir to the Empire. And with the Grand Admiral's reemergence brings the possibility of locating Ezra Bridger. Ahsoka swallows' a bitter pill of humility and asks for Sabine's help. The presence of the Dark Side is palpable and Ahsoka needs her Jedi Padawan to meet the unknown challenges ahead.

If this is true, I believe one of the two things will happen:

One, Sabine wants to find Ezra more than anything else. Sabine's passion is ignited "You had me at Ezra."

Or two, Sabine hesitates and states that she needs time to think about it. To which Ahsoka states that they do not have the luxury to wait. Sabine needs to decide soon.

Then we have this moment of Sabine igniting a green lightsaber.

Shin Hati stands across from Sabine and ignites her red lightsaber.

Sabine goes into a fighting stance.

Then Shin strikes but Sabine manages to block. Shin pushes against Sabine's saber emphasizing Shin's dominance.

I believe this is Sabine's Force Vision, like a dream of the future. Notice how Shin's lightsaber is red and not orange. This is a foreshadowing of a fight to come between Sabine and Shin. The question is when does Sabine have this vision? I feel it either happened before Ahsoka's arrival to Lothal or after Sabine asks for more time to think about Ahsoka's proposal to team up again.

Ultimately, Sabine accepts Ahsoka's offer. She dawns her Mandalorian gear after so many years. Sabine has this Mando ceremony that involves cutting her hair to a shorter length. I believe Mando women purposely crop their hair up or keep their hair short for combat and to get the maximum performance out of their Mando helmets.

The first time we see a live-action shot of Sabine's Mando helmet.

Then we cut to a scene that is identical to the REBELS finale.

This is a clip that showcases the ending of the REBELS series.

As you can see from this comparison, this scene with the mural mirrors the ending of REBELS. It seems AHSOKA is picking up where REBELS ended. However, I must point out one small difference between REBELS and AHSOKA. Sabine has short hair when we see Ahsoka's T-6 shuttle fly over Sabine watchtower home.

Well, that's it for this sixth breakdown analysis of the latest AHSOKA trailer. I hope you found today's post interesting wherever you are. If you did please share your thoughts. And while you are at it please leave a like. I will continue to post more breakdowns in the coming week. Until next time, may the Force be with you. Always!
