"Lego Reveals New Details About the AHSOKA Series"

Hello there! The Corellian Korean here to talk about LEGO STAR WARS sets related to the upcoming AHSOKA series.

WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD

FOR THE REBELS ANIMATED SERIES

AND THE AHSOKA SERIES (PREMIERS AUGUST 23)

THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO TURN AWAY

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...

According to Youtubers MandRproductions & Solid Brix Studios, LEGO is scheduled to release three Star Wars sets.

First, we have the Set 75362 Ahsoka Tano's T-6 Jedi Shuttle.

This is the main transport vessel that Ahsoka uses to get around in the AHSOKA series that is set to premier on August 23. If you have seen the AHSOKA trailers then you will recognize this shuttle. The vessel resembles a Mandalorian Gauntlet as it wings can reposition vertically or horizontally. It comes complete with four minifigures: Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Huyang, and Marrok.

Ahsoka's detailed minifig resembles her live-action counterpart without her Jedi robe. She is equipped with dual lightsabers that have translucent blades. The blades would look better if they had a frosted translucent color like a florescent lightbulb but other than that Ahsoka looks solid with the meticulous head piece.

Sabine, the Padawan Mandalorian, looks nice too in her Mando gear and purple hair piece. Sabine's minifig comes complete with her Mando helmet, dual laser pistols and a green lightsaber. However in the trailer, Sabine's jumpsuit was a heather grey color, this minifig has a chocolate colored jump suit. Maybe the lighting from the trailer was off.

Then we have Huyang, the ancient droid that served the Jedi. His head piece looks amazing along with his body print. He is equipped with a wrench which further cements that he services Ahsoka's ship like an astromech droid and perhaps a co-pilot for the T-6 shuttle. He probably knows where all the Jedi temples are located and serves as her droid for many misadventures.

And finally, we have the Imperial Inquisitor, Marrok. He looks badass just like how he appears from the trailers. He comes with a helmet and an Inquisitor lightsaber. What's cool about this minifig is that they reveal Marrok's name which was a mystery to me until now. He probably doesn't have a face print but if he does that would be awesome. Also would have been cool if they included one of the droids with an electrostaff. Maybe they will release a set later down the line for the Jedi ruins/temple with a robed Ahsoka and imperial three droids.

Second, we have the Set 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati's Starfighter.

We have two starfighters in this set. The blue and grey E-Wing piloted by two unrecognizable characters: Capt. Porter and an astromech droid with a yellow and blue color scheme. And we have Shin's orange and burgundy starfighter. Along with two other antagonists Baylan Skoll and Morgan Eslbeth.

Morgan Elsbeth, Baylan and Shin look like their live-action counterparts. They don't come with any accessories except their lightsabers and their hair pieces. Pretty standard.

Then we have the New Republic pilot, Capt. Porter. He actually looks the coolest in this set along with the two starfighters. The detailed prints on the helmet and body print look fantastic. Also Porter comes with a blaster and hair piece. And his nameless droid astromech looks interesting as I've never seen this color scheme before or it's very uncommon.

Now we know which starfighter Shin will appear in for the series. In the trailer, we see Shin in a dogfight in space. This pairing of minifigs may reveal when that starfighter dogfight occurs.

Finally, we have the Set 75357 Ghost & Phantom II.

In this set, we have the New Republic/Rebel multipurpose transport, Ghost along with it's smaller detachable vessel, Phantom II. We can recognize Hera Syndulla, Chopper and Hera's son, Jacen Syndulla. Then we have two unrecognizable characters: First Officer Hawkins and Lt. Beyta.

If I had to guess, the human in the plain brown uniform, First Officer Hawkins, is Hera's right hand man. He probably stands next to Hera and executes her orders. But does act as a regular member for Hera's Ghost crew? He doesn't look familiar but maybe he has a connection with a character from the OBI-WAN KENOBI series.

The second unrecognizable character, Lieutenant Beyta, is a New Republic Mon Calamari pilot. His head piece and pilot jumpsuit look awesome. And he comes with a blaster just like Hera. Based on his jumpsuit, I don't think he serves as crew member for Hera's Ghost. He probably pilots an E-Wing or another starfighter for the series.

Next, we have Hera, she looks like her live-action counterpart. Her head piece probably looks cooler up-close and her body print looks spot on.

Then we have the menacing squat C1-10P astromech droid, Chopper. He's shorter than the typical astromech droid which is to scale as a Lego minifig. Looks just like it's live-action counterpart. Nothing more to say.

And finally, the most interesting minifig in this set, Jacen Syndulla. We haven't seen him since his only appearance at the finale of REBELS. He is the son of Hera and Kanan Jarrus. What's interesting about this minifig is his hair color. In the REBELS animated series, Jacen had dark green hair but for this minifig, he has brown hair like his father. Maybe we will get an explanation for this when the series premiers. What else can I say, is that the character is squat because he's a child and for this play set, he may be the only one that fits Phantom II based on the image below.

That's it for this scoop. I hope you found today's post interesting. If you did please share your thoughts. And while you are at it please leave a like. Until next time, may the Force be with you. Always!
