“What happened to the last four episodes of CHRONICLES OF #37?”
Hello there! The Corellian Korean here to share my thoughts on today’s RANDOM QUESTION SUNDAY. And the question is:
What happened to the last four episodes of CHRONICLES OF #37?
I’m gonna give it to you straight. I have writers block.
There are several reasons for my writers block. I am mentally and creatively drained. Also I am having second thoughts on the direction of the story. Let me explain.
I have never written this much creative content on a consistent weekly basis for a live audience before. Trying to stay on track for this schedule has worn out my creative juices and mental juices. I had more energy starting this website. Working at my day job and maintaining SWNiK (now SWNK) without much time to myself factored into my current state. I cannot maintain CHRONICLES OF #37 and STAR WARS NEWS KOREA at this pace. I will have to readjust my schedule to be more flexible. I still have the passion and the will to continue so stay tuned for more content. We love you George 🧡.
Also, I am writing this story arch with Commander Cody in mind. I want the story to be mostly consistent with the current cannon. Cody's story was left unfinished, without an ending. Many assumed Cody went full bad and never left the Empire. So I explored that narrative for Cody's unwritten cannon. However recently, THE BAD BATCH Season 2 revealed that Cody went AWOL (Absent Without Official Leave). He did not agree with the direction of the Empire, especially after Desix, and just vanished without a word. At least that is what the second week of the second season revealed in South Korea. Perhaps, he was killed off similar to Captain Wilco. But that is very unlikely, Cody is a such beloved character from the CLONE WARS series. If he does die, he will definitely receive a better send off. Knowing this new nugget of information has thrown my writing upside down. I want my story to make sense with the current cannon but I realized that this was unrealistic. I don't think I can wait till the season finale to know Cody's fate. I resolved to continue the original path that I had set for Cody in the continuity of CHRONICLES OF #37. Please understand that Cody has a role to play in #37's character development. I felt that Cody's story needed to make sense. This was a major writers block that I had to over come. Now I can resume the story.
