Hello there! The Corellian Korean here with the sixteenth RANDOM QUESTION SUNDAY! And the question is:
What is Ahsoka?
A better question would be "Who is Ahsoka?" This question was posed by my father-in-law. He does not know much about Star Wars but he has an interest in supporting STARWARSNEWSKOREA.COM.

Ahsoka Tano is a character from the Star Wars universe. The character was created by Dave Filoni and George Lucas for STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS animated movie and TV series. Her character has evolved and transitioned into live-action.
Ahsoka debuted at the beginning of the Clone Wars era as a fourteen-year-old female Togruta, an alien race with human like features. She learned the ways of the Force as an apprentice to Jedi Knight, Anakin Skywalker. The Jedi were space wizards that protected the peace by using the Force. The Jedi were central during the Clone Wars as they took the role of military generals for the Republic, a collection of united planets led by democracy.
Ahsoka fought along Anakin during the Clone Wars and forged a close bond with her mentor over the course of three years. Through much adversity, Ahsoka's character evolved into a well respected Jedi amongst all her peers and enemies.
Towards the end of the Clone Wars, Ahsoka was framed for a crime by a fellow Jedi. She was found innocent and vindicated of her crimes but it was too late. Ahsoka felt betrayed by the Jedi Council and quit being a Jedi before she could complete her training. From then on Ahsoka decided to live a life separate from the dogmatic Jedi who did not side with her.
Perhaps, it was this decision that positioned Ahsoka to survive the Jedi purge, better known as Order 66. At the end of the Clone Wars, the Jedi were wiped out to near extinction. The Republic Clone Troopers that were subordinate to the Jedi generals, turned on all Jedi and slaughtered them. Even though Ahsoka left the Jedi Order, she was marked for execution. Ahsoka managed to escape the Jedi Purge by faking her death then went into hiding.
The Republic that Ahsoka fought for became the oppressive Galactic Empire. With the transformation of the Republic, Anakin followed suit. Anakin Skywalker fell to the Darkside of Force, betrayed the Jedi and joined the the newly formed Empire as it's lethal enforcer. To complete Anakin's transformation, he adopted the name Darth Vader and became a half-man and half-machine terror. The Jedi that survived were hunted down by the Empire and Darth Vader. Now only a few Jedi remain.
Fourteen to seventeen years later, Ahsoka would reemerge as one of the leaders of the Rebel Alliance. The Rebel Alliance was established to stop the Empire's oppressive tyranny over controlled space.
At this juncture, Ahsoka befriends an untrained Jedi youth in the ranks of the Rebel Alliance, Ezra Bridger. They work together to take down Grand Admiral Thrawn of the Empire while trying to advance Ezra's Jedi training.
Eventually Ahsoka found out that Anakin was alive and confronted her former Jedi master. She tried to convince Anakin to return to the Lightside of the Force by appealing to the goodness in Anakin but to no avail. Vader almost killed Ahsoka but Ezra Bridger managed to save her via a special Jedi portal that teleported her out of the fight.
Through a series of circumstances, Ezra and Ahsoka were forced to go their separate ways. Before parting ways, Ahsoka promised to find Ezra again. Unfortunately for Ahsoka, Ezra gets sent to unknown space with Thrawn in a act of self-sacrifice. Now Ahsoka searches for Thrawn in hopes of reuniting with Ezra Bridger.
