"The MANDALORIAN Season 3 Trailer for South Korea"
Hello there! The Corellian Korean here to talk about the South Korean STAR WARS: MANDALORIAN Season 3 trailer that released on Tuesday, January 17th on the Youtube Star Wars Korea channel. The International version of this trailer released on Monday the 16th on ESPN. The trailer was phenomenal to say the least! There were so many high points for this trailer. I believe this trailer alone received a massive amount of viewership that leave many to believe that this season of Mando will deliver. The international trailer states that the season 3 premier will be on March 1st on Disney Plus but the Korean trailer is left vague.
The Korean trailer simply states that season 3 will release in March. This open ended date can hold many meanings but I am leaning towards hope. And I "hope" this open ended date means that Disney Plus South Korea is working to release this show faster than previous Star Wars shows on Disney Plus. I pray that his show releases on the 1st of March in South Korea like the international release date.
Most of the time when Disney Plus Korea releases a date, they often have the Korean release date two weeks after the international release date. But what's unique about this trailer is that the date is open ended. Another unique aspect about this trailer is that it released on the Star Wars Korea Youtube channel, not Disney Plus Korea. Most of the time Disney Plus Korea handles the marketing for Star Wars properties for the most part but not this time. The Star Wars Korea Youtube channel has been mostly inactive since THE RISE OF SKYWALKER. Let that sink in... that was over 3 years ago! They started up again in 2022 for a kids series STAR WARS: GALAXY OF CREATURES and for the well received STAR WARS: ANDOR. It seems Star Wars Korea is stirring up again. Perhaps this is a good sign for Star Wars fans in Korea. Let's see where this 2023 rabbit hole leads ;-)
